Beginning with a discussion of climatic architecture, this work considers the evolution of concept, and the political, economic and environmental reasons for its promotion. Sections follow on "tradition", looking at its evolution; "strategies" for climate design offered for employment at the sketch design stage; "elements" of climatic building evaluated; and "examples" of climatic dwellings examined in detail. The text is also available as an A4 40-poster set, or as part sets of posters which cover the four sections: tradition, strategies, elements and examples.
