Description
This collection of articles on medical ethics is genuinely interdisciplinary, with some articles written by philosophers and others by doctors. Topics covered include euthanasia, utilitarianism and respect for life, the ethics of medical technologies, and living organ donors. Other topics of particular current resonance are the case for the involuntary hospitalization of the mentally ill, and the ethics of medical involvement in torture.
