Kasimir Malevich was a Russian artist who pioneered a geometric style of painting that he called Suprematism. As well as creating non-objective paintings, he produced the designs for the 1913 futurist opera "Victory over the Sun". This work analyzes Malevich's inspiration, methods and meanings.
