This book provides a description and history of the Low Energy Booster (LEB) synchrotron. As many similar, though much smaller synchrotrons, are now planned, this book will be of tremendous value to designers. Work is currently underway in the US, Japan and other areas in applications which will use pulsed spallation neutron sources. This book will be extremely useful to engineers and physicists in the field who are making decisions regarding the implementation of accelerator systems and functions.
