Description

Examining the role of chemikines in mediating human disease, this text presents an overview of the two chemokine supergene families and their receptors. The role of these mediatorsin arthritis, skin disease and renal disease is evaluated. Focusing on lung diseases, the role of these factors in the netrophil recruitment in the lung and in pneumonia is presented, as well as a summary of the role of these mediators in granulomatous disease.
