This text examines the range of European courts, showing how they relate to each other, the development of their powers and how this represents the beginnings of a court structure for Europe. Coverage is given to the European Court of Justice, the Court of First Instance and the EFTA Court of Justice, all three of which are closely intertwined. Topics covered by the book include the international judicial context, the national judicial context and a European judicial overview.
