内容説明
In recent years, parallel computing has become an important alternative to the serial model of computation, accelerating the development of more computing power and higher processing speed. Parallel computers, along with the reduction in cost and size of computer components, now present the computing world with a new opportunity to solve problems and develop applications for computationally intensive activities. This book provides a broad overview of the main research issues in the parallel computing community. The contributors, all internationally known, also discuss a range of applications that have been greatly influenced by this technology.
