This volume considers the work of Boris Podrecca, the Viennese architect whose varied designs are anchored between Austria and Italy. It shows how his designs interpreting organic processes lie, in terms of trend, with neither the "New Simplicity" which is degenerating to a mannerism, nor with Viennese "Deconstructivism" and its affinity to ornamentation. Included is a catalogue-like compilation of the most important works, accompanied by texts and a full listing of all works. Photographs capture the breadth of Podrecca's creativity, and the design process is made trasparent through hi spowerful sketches.
