This practical approach illustrates to the reader how the models work and which models are effective in different areas of practice. The aim of this book is to clarify and deepen the knowledge of nurses in practice. Since the publication of the first edition in 1990, new models have been developed and much research undertaken. Peplau's and Herman's models are evaluated and new research has been incorporated throughout.
