内容説明

This new edition evaluates the most popular nursing models and provides accounts of research conducted using these models in practice. This practical approach illustrates to the reader how the models work and which models are effective in different areas of practice. The aim of this book is to clarify and deepen the knowledge of nurses in practice. By combining theory and practice with current research, this book should be useful reading for practising nurses and students who are keen to develop clinical reasoning skills and improve the quality of service delivered. Since the publication of the first edition in 1990, new models have been developed and much research undertaken. Peplau's and Herman's models are evaluated and new research has been incorporated throughout.
