Description
This text presents the results of recent projects in oceanography and marine geosciences (WOCE, JOGFS, PAGES ODP) regarding the present and past circulation in the South Atlantic. The objective of the text is to integrate results from both oceanography and geological studies. The central theme of the geological investigations is the reconstruction of current and productivity systems in the South Atlantic during late Quaternary.
