Description
This text uses a three-fold approach to teaching calculus - graphical, numerical and algebraic - to explore problem situations. This approach helps students better understand, and in turn better apply, the fundamentals of calculus. The authors' graphing calculator and computer graphing approach to algebra and trigonometry allows students to visualize for themselves tough mathematical concepts.
