Description

Economic psychology uses psychological theories to explore, assess and explain economic theories and behaviour. For example, motivation theory can be used to gain insight into consumer behaviour. This text reflects the current state of affairs in the co-operation between economists and psychologists, covering consumer behaviour, financial behaviour, business decision-making, cross-cultural research, and experimental research. Chapters are written by economists and psychologists from the USA, Poland, the Netherlands, Hungary, Sweden, the UK, Israel, and Germany.
