Description and Table of Contents

Description

VB Script, is a modification and subset of Microsoft's popular Visual Basic programming language. It is designed for use with HTML as a way of enhancing the features and functionality of web pages and any other application structured on HTML. VB Script competes with Javascript (a variation on Java that serves the same purpose). This book is primarily a programming book with an emphasis on applying VB Script to web page design. The book includes step-by-step instruction on major programming concepts (arrays, strings, data management, language syntax, mathematical operators, data and time management). Additionally, there are chapters or sections on HTML coding, converting Visual Basic to VB Script, adding audio and video to web pages using VB Script, and comparisons with competing tech-nologies.
