Description
This book describes the political, economic and military power of each major participant of World War II. It also discusses their political, economic and military strategies. Each major campaign is systematically analyzed country by country, year by year, from 1937 to 1945. Postwar writings by participants and scholars have been integrated to create an interpretation of the war that challenges the wartime propaganda which is still largely reflected in popular, even textbook, literature.
