Description
This text is an analysis of the impact of the end of the Cold War on Turkey's internal and external policies. It reconstructs Turkey's place in the post-Cold War European order, and suggests that this has begun to undergo a transformation. It provides an insight on the relations between Turkey and the European system of states, and shows the extent to which the country's internal system has been affected by the changes taking place around it. Tracing the policy changes in political, economic, social and foreign spheres specifically in the light of the customs union between Turkey and the European Union, this text should be of interest to acedemics and researchers.
