内容説明
Certain features of criminal behaviours parallel those of the addictions. For example, a drug addict who has not had a recent "fix" may be obsessed by thoughts of the drug until he acquires another dose. Obviously not every offender is addicted to crime, yet there may be value in exploring addiction models in their application to the understanding and treatment of some criminal behaviours. This text explores addiction models in their application to the understanding and treatment of some criminal behaviours. It addresses theoretical issues, practical implications of the "addicted to crime" hypothesis, and provides such evidence as currently exists.
