Description
This is a book on the survey of the antiquities of the districts of Patna and Gaya under taken by the author, who was the superintendent of the Botanical Gardens in Calcutta, from 16th Oct 1811 up till 6th March 1812. The book has charts and illustrations drawn along the way. They include charts of Patna; the route map from Bodhgaya to Rajgir; sections of river flow; a plan of old Rajagriha; and, a route map undertaken by the author.
