Description
This global assessment of the environment assesses threats to the environment, environmental change, global effects of economic development, population increase, and consumption and production patterns. Evaluations are made by world regions, including Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America, West Asia. Model-based forecasting into the next century on key environmental variables is also included. This book is intended for environmentalists, policy makers, experts and decision makers from industrial and developing countries, graduate and undergraduate college courses in the environment.
