内容説明
This source merges three clinical references into an integrated CD-ROM based information system. Stein's "Internal Medicine" is an easy-to-use reference. The consistent problem-solving format takes the reader step-by-step through pathophysiology, laboratory tests, differential diagnosis and treatment options for a range of disease entities. The Physicians GenRx electronic database contains current information on some 40,000 drug products including drug descriptions, indications, contraindications, warnings, precautions, adverse reactions, dosage and administration, and off label uses. IMED provides convenient access to entries appearing in the National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE abstracting service over the past 7 years. The database comprises more than 66,000 abstracts from 31 leading journals selected for their relevance to internal medicine. Electronic hyperlinks allow the user to move with the point-and-click speed from descriptions of disease states in Stein, to detailed information on drug regimes in Physicians GenRx to relevant clinical findings documented in the MEDLINE library.
Information can easily be located with an instant-access keyword indexing system, a complete table of contents or traditional full-text searching. Once located, the user can mark its place, add personal annotations, copy it to another document or print a hard copy.
