Description and Table of Contents

Description

The proceedings of this symposium addresses 11 scientific subjects: Molecular Resonance Ionization Spectroscopy (RIS); femtosecond RIS and ultratrace analysis; RIS and molecular clusters; RIS applied to nuclear and particle physics; and biological and medical applications of RIS. The highlights are invited presentations of exemplary RIS work across disciplines, as well as discussions of how the technology may be influenced by potential applications in other fields. This book is intended for researchers and graduate students in high energy and nuclear physics, medicine, chemistry, and biology, geology, astronomy, and engineering, using RIS for ultrasensitive measurements.
