内容説明
Piezoelectricity is a form of energy conversion which has merited considerable attention in recent years due to its applications in functional devices such as ultrasonic generators, filters and actuators. In order to understand the piezoelectric interaction process, knowledge of both crystallographic phenomena and the electronic fundamentals of electromechanical transducers are required. In this book a basic understanding of piezoelectricity is combined with an extended application to electromechanical conversion. No attempt is made, however, to rearrange established formulae and data. The description presented here is based on the formation of crystal physics, and the contents further cover the approach in solid-state physics adapted to electromechanical interactions, as well as in electronics for the application of transducers. In addition, details of electromechanical measurements are illustrated and recent applications reviewed.
目次
- Thermodynamic aspects of electromechanical interaction and piezoelectric relations
- crystal symmetry and physical constants
- sound propagation and the depolarizing-field effect in piezoelectric media
- piezoelectric transducer vibration
- mechanical and dielectric losses in a piezoelectric medium
- electromechanical measurement of piezoelectric transducers
- electromechanical interaction in solid-state physics
- piezoelectric materials and electromechanical transducers. Appendices: orientation of crystals and eulerian angles
- analysis of plane sound wave propagation based on the fundamental (S,P)-type relation
- SH mode of guided waves propagated along a Y-cut plate with 6mm symmetry
- cylindrical-coordinate expression of the fundamental relation for piezoelectric Z-cut ceramic plate
- thin square plate face-shear vibration
- dependence of resonant frequency on thickness in radical mode circular plate vibration
- bending vibration analysis of an asymmetric bimorph beam
- elastic and piezoelectric tensor component determination in various crystal systems
- tentative phenomenological treatment of piezoelectricity in improper ferroelectric crystals
- transfer admittance taking adhesive layers into account.
