Description and Table of Contents
Description
The broad field of microdosimetry is concerned with the spatial and temporal correlation of radiation interactions over microscopic dimensions covering the scales of atoms, biomolecules and human cells. This book brings together experts in physics, chemistry, molecular and cell biology and oncogenesis, to advance the application of microdosimetry to other fields such as medicine and to promote and advance education and training in the field of radiation sciences. The multidisciplinary nature of this book means that Microdosimetry will be of interest to professionals, postgraduates and researchers in all areas of science, but it will prove particularly useful to environmental scientists, applied and physical chemists and biological scientists.
