内容説明
A piece of investigative journalism about American ex-servicemen in Southeast Asia who have been abandoned by the US government. The authors maintain that the government is committed to ignoring their existence in order to conceal the CIA involvement with drugs in Asia. They believe that the US Government knows that American prisoners of war were left behind in Vietnam, but is unwilling to help them. They are committed to maintaining the official line that these POWs do not exist, and are willing to stifle any evidence to the contrary. Successful escapees returning with news of other Americans still held captive are discredited as deserters and threatened and harassed if they continue to broadcast their story.
