Description
This workbook is an interpersonal training manual designed to facilitate group learning about ethics in a workshop setting. It contains handouts, suggestions for role-play, and background material to ensure stimulating discussion for group learning. The guide is arranged thematically around significant ethical issues: the principal of the value of life; good or right; justice or fairness; truth-telling or honesty; and individual freedom. Its flexible approach ensures that it can be used in a variety of ways among different groups, either to explore particular issues or to provide a more general introduction to ethical decision-making. It aims to provide a resource for student-centred learning in keeping with the current demands of Project 2000, allied health courses and for all health care professionals currently training or in practice. An accompanying workshop guide is available separately.
