Description

The Possible Universe explores a hypothetical philosophical synthesis based on the largest conceivable domain-the realm of the possible. This book suggests a final and ultimate in the notion of the possible, by which all necessary and contingent entities coalesce into the universe as possibility. A 'description' of such a formal theme is attempted through an axiomatic system of logic. The book departs from the established analytic current in philosophy by appealing to the synthetic character of vision building, which is supposed to be, after all, the essence of philosophical endeavor. This return to the trunk takes advantage, however, of the rigorous developments of analysis in the fields of validation and formalism.
