The text of the communion of the Christian with God herein reprinted is that of the 2nd English edition of 1906, published in New York by G. P. Putnam's Sons and in London by William and Norgate. The 2nd English edition represents the translation by J. Sandys Stanyon, which was revised throughout and enlarged and altered in accordance with the 4th German edition of 1903 by R. W. Stewart
