This is a survey of the genus Mycena (Basidiomycetes, Agaricales, Tricholomataceae) in the state of Parana, Brazil. 30 sections of Mycena are recognized, 14 sections and one subsection of which are new. Keys to the sections are provided. 62 species are described, 55 of which are new. A key is given to the South American species of Mycena described (or mentioned) by R. Singer.
