The monograph outlines the issues of macroeconometric modelling in the transition period from centrally planned to the market economy exemplified by the Czech, Polish and Slovak models. They are shown in the broad context of analysing of the world economy on the basis of small econometric models. It describes the structures of macroeconometric models (quarterly and annual for Poland, annual and semi-annual for Slovakia, quarterly and annual for the world economy) and their use in macroeconomic policy analyses.
