Description
Developed by the American Orthopaedic Association, this work addresses virtually every aspect of nontraumatic osteonecrosis, including: aetiology, diagnosis, pathology, imaging, classification and treatment. The book documents developments in the diagnosis and treatment of osteonecrosis. Its clinical focus should help physicians identify and treat this disease before major damage has occurred. It should also enable surgeons to evaluate treatment alternatives, such as: core decompression; osteotomy; bone grafting; and arthroplasty.
