Description
This monograph provides a discussion of the biomechanics of the coracoacromial arch and kinematics of the subacromial space. It also expands upon the current techniques of arthroscopic acromioplasty and arthroscopic distal clavicle resection and defines the role and results of mini open rotator cuff repair. It deals in greater detail with massive rotator cuff tears and with the techniques and results of tendon transfers for irreparable rotator cuff and subscapularis tendon tears. Finally, it expands on the issues of complications associated with rotator cuff surgery.
