Description and Table of Contents
Description
The "Vocational Integration Index" measures the "integration" of persons with disabilities with nondisabled workers in a given work setting. Developed over the past 5 years at Virginia Commonwealth University, the index is designed to analyze job sites, determine opportunities for vocational integration, and assess the degree to which disabled workers can take advantage of such opportunities. It includes a test package. The "Vocational Integration Index" is the first available commercial package designed to help rehabilitation professionals address new federal mandates requiring social integration of the handicapped.
