Description
"The Rat Brain in Stereotaxic Coordinates, Fourth Edition", is a comprehensive revision of the most authoritative and widely cited atlas in neuroscience. In addition to the completely revised coronal diagrams, the Fourth Edition contains thoroughly revised sagittal and horizontal diagrams of the brain. High-quality photographs accompany each diagram. It includes a CD-ROM which contains 117 diagrams (both labeled and unlabeled) of coronal, sagittal, and horizontal sections through the brain and spinal cord. The CD-ROM also contains sets of Adobe Acrobat 3.0 files which allow you to print, copy, and search the diagrams that appear in the print version, and the software Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0. The diagrams or parts of diagrams may be copied to most drawing or word-processor programs for custom labeling or alteration. More extensive editing can be achieved using the set of Adobe Illustrator (3.0) files which are included on the CD-ROM. These files can be edited with Adobe Illustrator and other graphics programs such as CorelDraw. It includes a special set of 69 color plates (of the original atlas sections) for use in computer labs or for making slides.
It includes a multiplatform CD for use on both Macintosh and PCs.
