Description
Dedicated the basic question of whether or not the mind is just a very complex computer, this work addresses the "strong versus weak AI" debate. It presents 20 papers, gathered and refereed through the Internet, in three parts: overview and general issues; new approaches and computability; and form vs meaning. This brainstorming publication presents analyses of core ideas that will possibly shape future artificial intelligence. Papers represent different positions on these issues.
