内容説明

The relentless pace of the acceptance of quality as a fundamental basis for business management continues unabated. More organizations are adopting methods and management practices that comply with total quality principles, but it can often be difficult for specialist departments to see how their role within a company benefits as a result of such a system. By focusing on the role of quality in the financial field, this study explores the benefits that come to financial management when TQM is adopted. Taking the reader from the first principles of quality through to the successful implementation of the quality level of their choice, this book demonstrates: the growth of quality in business; the fundamental principles of quality systems as they relate to the finance function; different techniques for implementing quality; the impact of TQM on information systems; the benefits relating to financial management; and useful planning, action and evaluation checklists.
