内容説明

The past century and a half has seen fundamental changes in the laws of Ireland, both North and South, and, at the same time, a remarkable degree of continuity both in the problems facing Irish society and in the legal solutions to those problems. This collection of essays is published to mark the sesquicentenary of The Queen's Colleges in Ireland. It presents a selection of "snapshots" illustrating this combination of continuity and change in relation to law-making, the administration of justice and the ownership of property. The wide-ranging nature of the legal issues and materials discussed in this collection provides a useful contribution to a more general understanding of the modern law in the two Irish jurisdictions. Price includes postage and packaging.
