内容説明
Within the global framework of the major transformation of development models from statist-protectionist to private-liberal the various contributors to this collection seek to compare the Latin American experiences of macroeconomic changes or adjustments with those of East European countries. This comparison may not be mechanically applied from one region to another because of differences relating to political environment, historical socio-economic background and the time schedule of reforms. Hence it constitutes mainly an appreciation of the transformation processes which have taken place in Latin America within the perspective of their hypothetical relevance to the situation in Central-East Europe.
