Description and Table of Contents
Description
This edition features five new chapters on aerospace issues as the multiple target or aimpoint shift problem and the challenges posed by spiraling targets and flight control design fundamentals. Based on the author's ""Fundamentals of Tactical and Strategic Missile Guidance"" continuing education course, the text examines weaving and spiraling targets, including the helical trajectory flown by the SCUD missiles during the Persian Gulf War. The author provides strategies for improved interceptor performance, and demonstrates valuable problem-solving methods and other practical techniques not typically taught in graduate programmes.
