In Jakarta, Indonesia, the main contributor to air pollution is the transport sector, followed by emission sources such as industrial units and power plants. Other sources are incineration, solid waste disposal, and the construction industry. This report focuses on the development of an air quality management system for Jakarta and on an action plan that targets traffic and industrial pollution.
