Description
The agreed statement on baptism, eucharist and ministry. As a concrete evidence of their ecumenical commitment, the churches have been asked "to enable the widest possible involvement of the whole people of God at all levels of church life in the spiritual process of receiving the text (Lima)". Growing Together in Baptism, Eucharist and Ministry is an attempt to help with that process of reception. Reproduced in it are important portions of the agreed statement. These are introduced and illustrated through a number of stories which seek to relate the theological text to the problems people face from day to day in church and society. With a series of questions for the use of study groups, the book is precisely what it claims to be -- a study guide.
