内容説明
This work contains the texts of the conventions concluded under the auspices of the Hague Conference on Private International Law in the period between 1951-1996. The status of signatures, ratifications and accessions is not included in this collection, since it is subject to frequent changes. A table of signatures, ratifications and accessions is published from time to time in certain law reviews dealing with private international law (including the "Netherlands International Law Review") and a table of current status may be obtained at any time from the Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, Scheveningseweg 6, 2517 KT The Hague, Netherlands (fax: +31 70 360 4867). The Hague Conference on Private International Law is an intergovernmental organization the purpose of which is 'to work for the progressive unification of the rules of private international law'. The First Session of the Hague Conference on Private International Law was convened in 1893 by the Netherlands Government. Prior to the Second World War, six Sessions were held.
The Seventh Session in 1951 marked the beginning of a new era by the preparation of a Statute which made the Conference a permanent intergovernmental organization. The following 44 States are Members of the Conference: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, the Federal Republic of Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Luxembourg, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Uruguay and Venezuela.
