Description
A study of the extent and distribution of Warwickshire's woodland assessing whether much of the country became woodless' and considering whether the increase in arable land was at the expense of wood pasture rather than coppice. Uses topography, the evidence of charters, place-names and Domesay records in a parish by parish survey of the woodland to assess its distribution, appearance and management.
