Description
An undergraduate haematology textbook in the Illustrated Colour Text series, employing all the organisational methods and learning devices of this successful series, ie double page spreads, full-colour illustrations throughout, boxes and summaries.The book's practical viewpoint will be attractive to students, since the text will help them with their work on the ward. It provides guidance on practical aspects - such as history taking and examination, blood counts and other laboratory tests, and practical procedures such as venepuncture. And with colour throughout, and molecular biology kept to a minimum, the text will ensure the student isn't overloaded with science.
