内容説明

With the increased integration of European businesses, there has been an increase in the number of courses in Business Schools which provide a European perspective. This core text addresses human resource issues, dilemmas and developments within the EU. Part One is concerned with contexts. It covers culture and values, labour market issues, globalisation and multinationals, technology and work organisation. Part Two covers institutions and decision making processes, and the social dimensions of the EU. In Part Three, the author discusses interventions and issues and takes a critical approach to the subject matter. He identifies problems, their causes, difficulties and obstacles to problem resolution. Part Four offers concluding comments and insights.
