内容説明

This work analyzes different forms of relations between labourers and employers in rural areas, and the bases of such relations, in order to show how the various forms of labour relations are used as mechanisms of control and as a means of exploitation by the employers in rural areas of Bangladesh. The book also investigates how the labourer employer relationship changes over time and the implications of these changes by analyzing tenurial relations, various types of labour relations (including migration) and state intervention. The book is intended primarily for departments of politics (courses in Asian politics), development studies, and economics (courses in agricultural economics).
