Description
Provides information on integrated network management and explains how to develop a standard, flexible network management architecture and platform, while also showing how to implement a plan for optimizing and troubleshooting the network, simultaneously reducing management costs. This source concentrates on such areas as managing large and complex distributed messaging networks consisting of standard and nonstandard devices and applications; controlling strategic and valuable assets in a multivendor environment; deploying working management and control systems in a very short time for well-defined proprietary and nonstandard networks; providing high reliability and serviceability to customers of messaging networks; optimizing network performance while providing value-added services over the network; and detecting and correcting potential problems before network performance is impeded.
