Description

This book illustrates the thought process of dentists in several of the clinical specialities when their specific aspect of care is involved in complex dental cases. It presents decision making for treatment planning as viewed by specialists inperiodontics , endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery. The sometimes conflicting viewpoints of these specialities must be resolved by the individual dentist for comprehensive treatment planning. This unique reference provides information so the practitioner can arrive at different conclusions. The text is divided into five sections from the speciality areas of peridontics, endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Each chapter consists of a two page discussion of a specific treatment. Explanatory text accompanied by illustrations and references appears on the left-hand page, and an algorithm or decision tree appears on the right-hand page.
