Managers and administrators of irrigation systems have to take daily decisions on how best they can allocate and meet the demands of crops and farmers, utilizing and mobilizing available resources. To support their decision-making processes, various data is collected and processed. This book focuses on three model areas: integrated management of irrigation systems; optimization of irrigated crop production; and simulation of hydraulic models of open channel flows. The recommendations arising from the proceedings constitute a valuable set of guidelines.
