Description
The London Conference on Nazi Gold was held as a concerted effort to shed light on a tragic episode, attended by delegations from 41 countries and 6 international non-governmental organizations, between them representing surviving victims of Nazi persecution worldwide. The aim was to pool the knowledge available and thus help to establish a sound body of fact on the basis of which governments and other decision-takers would be able to take better informed decisions in the area in the future. This report examines the origin of the gold and what happened to it.
