The analysis is mainly based upon generally accepted principles as laid down in international conventions, as well as rules and practices elaborated under the auspices of governmental and non-governmental bodies, such as UNIDROIT, UNCTAD, UNCITRAL and ICC, CMI, FIATA and BIMCO.
