内容説明

This title integrates several landmark atlases as well as magnetic resonance scans into a multi-purpose, multi-dimensional, interactive CD-ROM. The print atlases incorporated are: "Co-Planar Sterotaxic Atlas of the Human Brain" and "Referentially Oriented Cerebral MRI Anatomy", both by J. Talairach and J. Tournoux, and "Atlas for Stereotaxy of the Human Brain" by G. Schaltenbrand and W. Wahren. The information contained in these print atlases has been digitized, pre-processed, enhanced and fully labelled. The CD-ROM offers several interactive features: All atlases are co-registered; interactive atlas, MR and CT registration and overlay; 3D animations of cerebral structures; navigation through the atlases and images in 3D sterotactic space; importing of atlas images with user annotations to other applications; three anatomical indices containing 600 structures and a selected glossary of structures promoting ease of use (allowing the user to choose any object from the anatomical index, find the corresponding object in MRI data, and visualize, manipulate and quantify in two and three dimensions). The minimum system requirements for PCs are: a 486 Windows-compatible computer, at least 8MB of RAM, a double-speed CD-ROM drive, a 256-colour display or better, Windows 3.1 or higher and DOS 3.3 or higher. Recommended system configuration: Pentium with 32MB RAM, 256-colour display, 11MB space available, Windows 95 and quad-speed CD-ROM drive. The minimum system requirements for Apple Macintosh computers are: 13" colour display, at least 9MB RAM, 256-colour display and a double-speed CD-ROM drive. Recommended system configuration: Power Macintosh with at least 8MB of RAM, System 7, a 13" or larger colour display, 256-colour display, approximately 11MB of space available, and a quad-speed CD-ROM drive.
